National Center for Distance Learning in Germany (ZFU)
The federal agency responsible for all matters pertaining to distance learning legislation. They monitor, among other things, the authorization of distance learning education programs.

What does the ZFU authorization indicate?

The ZFU examines whether a program meets the standards of distance learning in terms of content and didactical methods. The goals of an education must be attainable. Furthermore, profession-oriented distance learning programs must have goals that are in accordance with the professional education statues and The national authorization of a distance learning education is not equivalent to a nationally recognized professional qualification. Quality Management in Continuing Education

In an effort to better integrate those looking for work into the job market, lawmakers have successfully created a certification for providers of continuing education according to AZAV (accreditation and authoization regulation of employment promotion measures).

Ziel der repressiven Tätigkeit der NADA Austria ist es, eine faire und gerechte Sportausübung zu gewährleisten. Durch Kontrollen und Sanktionen soll die Anwendung verbotener Substanzen und Methoden sowie die Entwicklung einer Dopingmentalität weitgehend unterbunden werden. Durch die Etablierung und Einhaltung internationaler Standards soll der sportliche Vergleich mit Sportlern anderer Länder unter gleichen Voraussetzungen ermöglicht werden. Ziel der präventiven Tätigkeit der NADA Austria ist es, die Sportler dabei zu unterstützen, dass sie sich selbstbewusst und eigenverantwortlich gegen Doping und Medikamentenmissbrauch entscheiden.
